Youth Opportunities Unlimited provided the Media Arts Academy with 28 youth producers ranging in ages from 14 to 28 years old. They were divided into four production crews. These crews conducted research, storyboarded, shot and produced four different documentaries within a six week time frame.
TEEN PREGNANCY- Exposes the naked truth of becoming another teen statistic.
SCHOOL RETENTION- Takes a look at some of the causes and effects upon our community, along with suggested solutions about retaining kids in school.
TEEN VIOLENCE- Includes interviews, skits and statistics associated with teen violence and suggested prevention tips.
MIGRANT STORY- Includes research and insightful interviews that help to dispel myths and stereotypes associated with migrants and their families.
