Race Education in the Community

Engaging cross-cultural youth in learning through an interactive curriculum. Executive Director, Deborah Warfield co-facilitates activities and discussions that help to replace racial myths with facts, dispel stereotypes, unearth systemic barriers and create anti-biased educational atmospheres. Teaching tools designed by youth are incorporated into each 2-Day session. Classroom instructors prepare their students with parallel assignments prior to the sessions. Students are invited to continue deeper work by connecting them with ongoing community initiatives that help to develop youth as peer educators.
